Advancing Numeracy in Science

Advancing Numeracy in Science makes the link between these two key curriculum areas explicit. It outlines basic numeracy principles as they apply to real scientific examples, assuming that students have little prior knowledge of them. The differentiated activities cover the four major areas of science with many relating to practical experimental work or real-world applications of scientific principles, clearly demonstrating why learning numeracy will help students in their everyday lives, as well as in their scientific studies. This title will be available in mid April 2017.
