School Readiness Funding online professional development

Essential Resources is nationally recognised as a leading provider of professional teaching and learning resources for the early childhood education and care sector. Our online professional development courses are included on the Victoria School Readiness Funding Menu for 2025–2026 and support Victorian early childhood services to plan meaningful, evidence-based professional learning.

These early childhood online courses align with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and are designed to build educator capability in the three School Readiness Funding priority areas:

  • Communication (language development)
  • Wellbeing (social and emotional)
  • Access and inclusion

Each course helps educators, parents, carers and families strengthen children’s learning and development through practical, self-paced professional learning. The courses are:
