
2026 NSW Start Strong Program for Early Learning Services
Essential Resources is nationally recognised as a leading provider of professional teaching and learning resources that align with the NSW Department of Education Start Strong Program in 2026.
We offer early childhood online professional development courses and resource packs to assist services in developing and delivering a quality education programme based on the EYLF. The aim is to build educators’ confidence and capability, promote inclusion and improve children’s learning and development while directly supporting the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care.
The online courses support children’s learning and development in three areas:
- Oral language and literacy
- Social and emotional learning
- Access and inclusion
We also have packs of early childhood education resources that have been carefully collated to align with the unique priority areas of different programs.
The Essential Resource range builds on the capacity of educators and parents, carers and families to support children’s learning and development. They:
- are highly suitable for implementation in New South Wales 3YO and 4YO+ early childhood education and care

Our service has used The Foundations of Communication, Language and Literacy Course as part of our program. All of our educators have benefited in some way, whether they have been in the industry for 20 years or 2 months. We highly recommend this course to all educators, you will gain insight and fresh perspectives in navigating children’s learning during their early years. The tailored sessions are designed to further your learning and knowledge in areas that you or your educators may find challenging.
