Biology Basics and Beyond - Book 3

Exploring the evolution, taxonomy, biodiversity and food webs of wild and domestic animals

Book 3 takes a closer look at animals, introducing broad biological concepts such as evolution, extinction, biodiversity, food webs and adaptation. Case studies of wild and domestic land animals develop planning and self-management skills, scaffolded for self-directed individual or group investigations. Other engaging activities demonstrate the enormous, awe-inspiring biodiversity in habitats across the world and even within Australia and New Zealand.
